Why This Programme
Most AI programmes start with tools. This one starts with you.
Every executive in this room has already built something AI cannot replicate. Deep sector knowledge accumulated over a decade. A network of genuine trust that took years to earn. Access to proprietary data that exists nowhere else. This programme makes that foundation visible, then teaches you how to use AI to build on top of it.
What This Programme Is
A strategic leadership programme grounded in the Kenyan and African context — hands-on, sector-specific, and built on your existing assets.
What It Is Not
Not a technical AI course. Not a generic introduction workshop. Not designed for IT teams or junior staff. Not theory-heavy or academic.
Who It Is For
CEOs and senior executives in energy, financial services, and government parastatals — with the authority to drive AI adoption in their organisations.
What You Will Leave With
Six Outcomes. One Transformation.
By the close of this programme, each participant will have completed a structured journey from awareness to action.
Understand the AI Landscape
A sharp, jargon-free briefing on the AI revolution — what has fundamentally changed, why the pace is accelerating, and what Kenya's National AI Strategy 2025–2030 means for your sector.
Identify Your Strategic AI Position
Clarity on where your greatest AI advantage lies — using the Three Profiles framework to identify whether your edge is sector knowledge, trusted relationships, or proprietary data.
Lead with an AI Mindset
The mental models and decision tools to evaluate AI proposals, govern adoption, manage resistance, and communicate AI strategy credibly to your board, your minister, and your staff.
Use AI Tools with Confidence
Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and NotebookLM — applied to actual executive tasks in your work, not hypothetical demos.
A Personalised AI Roadmap
A completed, one-page AI Strategy Canvas specific to your organisation — mapping quick wins (0–90 days), governance structure, talent plan, budget estimate, and stakeholder strategy.
The Confidence to Champion AI
You return to your organisation as a credible AI champion — equipped to lead the transition with authority, not delegate it to your technology team and hope for the best.
Programme Modules
Part One — The Workshop (4 Hours)
Four modules building from landscape awareness to a personalised AI strategy you can present to your board the following Monday.
Part Two
The Capstone Session (2 Hours)
AI tools applied live — in real time — to actual challenges brought by participants. Every participant leaves with a tangible, AI-generated output produced from their own real work. Not a demonstration output. Theirs.
The Three Profiles Framework
What do you already have?
"The most durable AI advantages in African markets will not be built by those who learn the tools fastest. They will be built by those who understand which existing asset makes them irreplaceable in the AI era."
The Context Holder
You have the sector knowledge nobody can import
You have spent years inside one industry. You know how the workflow actually runs — not the org chart version, the real version. In an AI context, your sector knowledge is the irreplaceable half of the most powerful AI partnership available to you.
Draft a process improvement memo that maps a broken workflow in your sector and proposes a specific AI-assisted fix — with a named tool and a named outcome.
The Trusted Connector
People trust you — and that is an asset AI cannot generate
You are the person people call when something needs to move. You have built a network of genuine trust over years, and no newcomer can shortcut it. AI companies with excellent products routinely fail in African markets because they lack exactly what you have.
Build a compelling one-page AI partnership proposal tailored to a specific organisation in your network — using Perplexity for research and Claude for the pitch.
The Data Custodian
You are sitting on data that nobody is analysing
Your organisation generates data that is genuinely hard to replicate from outside — claims records, yield data by season, procurement cycles going back a decade. None of it is being analysed at scale. You are not sitting on a compliance burden. You are sitting on a moat.
Analyse a data export from your organisation and surface three strategic insights that are not currently visible — using Copilot or NotebookLM.
What You Produce
Five Deliverables
This programme does not issue grades or test scores. It issues outputs. The standard for completion is not attendance — it is production.
AI Readiness Scan
12-question diagnostic completed in Module 1. Identifies your dominant AI profile and your top three sector-specific AI opportunities.
Sector Scenario Response
A real AI leadership scenario from your sector, resolved using the four-lens decision framework and peer-reviewed in session.
Module 3 AI Output
A real executive task completed using an AI tool during the practicum — chosen by you, from your actual work.
AI Strategy Canvas
A personalised one-page AI roadmap covering mandate alignment, quick wins, governance, talent, budget, and stakeholders.
Capstone Output
An AI-generated deliverable produced during the 2-hour capstone, applied to a real business challenge you own.
Participants who complete all five deliverables and attend the full 6 hours receive a Certificate of Completion: The AI-Ready Executive Programme, plus a digital badge for LinkedIn and professional profiles.

Practical Details
Before the Day
What Participants Need to Do
- Complete the Pre-Programme Survey (15 minutes) — sent 7 days before. Your answers shape the entire programme and determine which demonstrations and examples are used on the day.
- Create free accounts on Claude.ai and ChatGPT.com — bring login credentials on the day. If your organisation uses Microsoft 365, confirm Copilot access with your IT team in advance.
- Identify one real business challenge you would like to work on during the capstone. No preparation required — just have it clearly in mind.
On the Day
A laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a browser and internet access. Your Claude.ai and ChatGPT login credentials. One real business challenge in mind.
Round tables of 5–6. Not theatre-style — the workshop and practicum design requires peer discussion and facilitator circulation.
30 participants, firm. The coaching quality that makes this programme valuable depends on the intimacy of the cohort. If demand exceeds this, a second cohort will be opened.
The programme calibrates to the sectors represented. A cohort of energy executives receives different demonstrations and sector cases than a mixed cohort. Pre-survey data drives this.
